(LGI) approached a young entrepreneur with a simple question: “Why don’t you offer financing for computers the way automobile companies offer financing for cars?”  The young entrepreneur responded by saying “Put a business plan together and I’ll study it.”

The year was 1987 and at the time, the entrepreneur’s company was called PC’s Limited.  The young entrepreneur?  Well, that was Michael Dell.  As you may have guessed, PC’s Limited eventually changed its name to  Dell Inc. and over the past three decades, Dell has grown into one of the largest companies in the world!

Our innovative business plan began a long-term relationship with Dell.  In fact, for years LGI operated, under an exclusive agreement, as Dell’s “captive” finance organization.  Utilizing our multiple funding source business model, our advanced transaction processing technologies, and our knowledgeable finance specialists working side-by-side with Dell’s sales representatives, we helped Dell achieve unprecedented growth and profitability.
